This pic is one of the three times that we've met Shania. This one was taken at the Nissan Pavilion in northern VA. My youngest daughter is fighting brain cancer, and she really enjoys Shania's
music. So I made several phone calls and was able to get front row tickets and private back stage meetings with Shania.
Shania really goes out of her way to make children with sickness feel special. And I believe she also senses the stress of the parents too. Shania really was attentive to all of us, and said hello to us from the stage. What a special lady!

Here's another time that I met Shania. This pic is from her 12.20.98 concert in Baltimore. I was able to sit on the front row and go back stage. Everybody has asked me, "what did I say to get her to smile so big?" To be honest, I don't remember. But I was thrilled to meet her.

Sadly we have to report that Chelsea, the Andrews' youngest daughter lost her fight with brain cancer on Saturday, February 10 at 4:40 PM. Randy writes that "her passing was beautiful, and she passed at home. Very Peaceful." I would like to ask everyone to keep the Andrews family in your thoughts and prayers.
