 Now open in Shania's hometown, Timmins, Ontario Canada, the Shania Twain Centre is a must-see attraction for any Shania fan. On the site of the current Timmins Underground Gold Mine Tour, the Centre is an 11 million dollar "museum" dedicated to the career achievements of Shania Twain. It's an interactive showcase of Shania's life, following her humble Canadian roots to international stardom.
The Centre holds over a million dollars worth of Shania memorabilia donated by Shania including awards, clothing from her videos/touring and much more. It also holds an interactive attraction whereby visitors are be able to see how a record is created.
The Shania Twain Centre includes a 4,000-square-foot exhibit space featuring, a 1,200-square-foot traveling exhibit space and a 1,000-square-foot retail area, as well as a 1,500-square-foot foyer area.
It's estimated that the Shania Twain Centre will bring an additional 55,000 visitors who will spend $7.2 million a year to the city of Timmins.
