Residents Want Centre to Move
11/19/2000 - A large number of Timmins residents voiced their opinions and questioned decisions during a town hall meeting regarding the location of the Shania Twain Interprevie Centre.
Although construction on the centre is underway a petition is going around to have the Centre moved to Schumacher. The petition requests that the city put a hold on construction of the centre until the possibility of erecting it on an alternate site can be investigated in order to ensure that it will be erected in the best possible site for long term development.
