 Centre's Construction on Schedule
01/13/2001 - Despite frequent snow storms and frigid temperatures in Timmins, work on the Shania Twain Centre has continued on schedule. The winter weather was anticipated, said Roger Rheault of Cy Rheault Construction, which was awarded the contract to build the $6-million centre.
The foundations of the centre should be completed in the next two weeks, Rheault told The Timmins Daily Press. Once the foundations are complete, masonry and steel work will commence.
"We're on schedule to be done July 1" Rheault said. That comes as great news for those who have already started making their plans to visit the Shania Centre on July 1st!
