03/24/2001 - Following the announcement of Shania's pregnancy on Thursday, Will Saari, the Site Manager for the Shania Twain Centre in Timmins released an official press release addressing the obvious question on the minds of Shania fans... Will Shania be at the Shania Centre opening this summer? (Note new opening date: June 30th)

March 23, 2001 - For Immediate Release
The development committee and staff of the Shania Twain Centre in Timmins, Ontario, are very excited and pleased to learn that Shania is expecting her first child.
We understand that this will mean that Shania is unable to attend the opening of the Centre in person on June 30th, 2001; however, we look forward to a visit from her at a later date.
Plans are currently being finalized for the opening on June 30th and we will be releasing more information on the opening day activities very soon. Any new information will be posted immediately on our official web-site at www.shaniatwaincentre.com
We would like to take this opportunity to express our support and best wishes to our favourite hometown girl, Shania, and her husband, Rober John "Mutt" Lange.
