Other Options
03/25/2001 - Now that it looks like Shania won't be attending opening of the Shania Twain Centre those who've been working hard to get the Centre ready by it's opening date of June 30th are looking into other options to accomodate the fans while in Timmins for the opening. Although Shania may not be physically present for the opening there could still be a way to bring her presence to the opening.
"We are hoping that somehow we could have some type of presence from her. What format we'll take, we don't know yet, but with the use of technology, who knows, it may be possible," said Site Manager for the Shania Twain Centre, Will Saari.
Saari also added that this situation gives them an opportunity to have Shania appear at the Shania Centre at a later date!
