04/04/2001 - A more convenient access is on the way for the Shania Twain Centre and Timmins Underground Gold Mine Tour. The City of Timmins is accepting tenders for the basic two-lane road construction project which will link the centres west end parking lot with Park Road, near the existing entrance to the Hollinger Golf Club.
It will come out to Park Road at more of a 90 degree angle, said Will Saari, site manager for the Shania Twain Centre and Timmins Underground Gold Mine Tour.
