It's Shania Time!
04/13/2001 - As the opening of the Shania Centre approaches, the city of Timmins is preparing for something they're calling "Shania Time!" The Shania Time initiative is designed to promote the city of Timmins along with the grand opening of the Shania Twain Centre, opening June 30th.
 Businesses and residents in Timmins are already getting in the spirit of Shania Time by showing their support for their hometown star. Currently Shania Time buttons (left) are on sale throughout the city for $2 each and they've even created a bi-weekly Shania Time Newsletter. Money from the sale of the buttons will go back into the Shania Time initiative and help fund Shania Time posters and billboards which will be placed around the city. Also available in the near future, will be bumper stickers promoting Shania Time, as well as Shania Time placemats to be distributed to local restaurants.
