First Four Through The Door Winners
06/15/2001 - Eleanor Merrier, from Cadotte Lake, Alberta Canada, has been announced as the grand prize winner of the First Four Through the Door contest. Timmins Mayor, Jamie Lim and Will Saari, tourism and attractions manager for the City of Timmins announced Merrier as the winner of the First Four Through the Door contest at the Shania Centre site yesterday.
She and three guests will be the first official visitors of the centre on opening day, June 30. They will get a sneak peak of the centre about 15 minutes before the first scheduled tour. The grand prize also includes two nights accommodations at the Senator Hotel and Conference Centre with meal vouchers and souvenir items from the centre.
Winners of the runner up prize packages, which include two nights accommodation, two tickets for opening day of the Shania Twain Centre and a $25 gift certificate from Caseys Bar and Grill, are Terry Roserlyn, of Timmins, and Eric Pullerits, of Toronto.
Saari said winners will be contacted as soon as possible in order to make their travel arrangements. Congratulations to those who won!
